Last year, when the world was rocked by news of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie breaking up (ok, “rocked” might be a stretch), Norwegian Airlines capitalized on the celebrity split with a print ad campaign dubbed “Brad is Single.”
The promotion highlighted significantly discounted flights from Oslo to Los Angeles, where Pitt is based.

Now that the couple has apparently patched things up, Kazakhstan-based travel provider Global Air has released an updated version of the Norwegian Air campaign via Cheil Kazakhstan.
This time, instead of encouraging people to fly to L.A. in search of Brad, Global Air is pushing flights more close to home in Europe.
A bit too similar to the original creative concept? Perhaps. But funny nonetheless.
“During August, European destinations among others were highlighted by Global Air due their great prices,” said Juan Pablo Valencia, executive creative director at Cheil Kazakhstan. “And one of the better prices was Rome. So, while other travel agencies and airlines were promoting different destinations, our idea was to take advantage, with humor, of last year’s viral ad and to reformulate it.”
