BDigital Appointed by British American Tobacco to Head up Digital for Velo

British American Tobacco has named BDigital Pvt. Ltd. as its new digital advertising agency for Velo. BDigital is a subsidiary of Blitz Advertising Pvt. Ltd.

“In 2020, BAT launched a discreet & tobacco-free alternative called Velo, which is an oral nicotine pouch, and was subsequently launched with the Velo Sound Station, an advertiser-funded project under the category of a music platform,” said Umair Saeed, chief operating officer at Blitz Group.

“We look forward to sharing our distinctive subject matter expertise on how to deliver digital marketing strategies that accelerate customer acquisition and communicate customer value for Velo.”

 
 

The agency will act as a one-window digital solution for Velo digital, providing services including media planning, buying, optimization, digital creative, asset management, digital strategy, and content.

“We look forward to replicating the success of sports marketing streams over music as a genre. It is a steep hill to climb, but our team is geared up for the challenge,” added Saeed.
