BBH Asia networks and McCann Worldwide together took home five gold awards at this year’s Appies a festival that saw Indian campaigns dominating the top honours.
BBH Asia Pacific Singapore won gold for its IKEA BookBook 2015 Catalogue work.
BBH India’s “Johnnie Walker The Journey” marketing push also took gold.
McCann India also took home up golds for Saffolalife World Heart Day – Protect Her Heart.
The APPIES is organised by the Institute of Advertising Singapore and celebrates excellence in marketing and communications effectiveness. The APPIES is unique in Singapore as being the only marketing awards where presenters are required to pitch case studies on the spot with a live judging panel.
Chaired by Alvin Neo, the Appies 2015 are organised by the Institute of Advertising Singapore.
“The APPIES are about recognizing and learning from among the best marketing programs across the Asia Pacific.,” said Neo.
“Its unique 4-6-20 format allows delegates to witness judging live and ask questions about the thinking, ideas and execution behind top-notch campaigns over 2 days.”
