BBDO Korea Appoints Kyunghee Lee as General Manager

BBDO Korea has appointed Kyunghee Lee General Manager, tasked with leading the cross-disciplinary teams servicing multi-national accounts. Lee, who has been with BBDO for a decade, brings 20 years of experience in the advertising industry and has been recognized for her account leadership by both the Korean Advertising Awards and Ad Stars.

She started her advertising career at FCB in 2000 and joined BBDO Korea in 2010, working on accounts including AmorePacific, Mars, Visa, MetLife, ExxonMobil and FedEx, to name a few.

“I have known Kyunghee for a long time and she is the definition of solid account management,” said Jean-Paul Burge, Chairman & CEO of BBDO Asia.

“She has a keen sense for understanding the client’s business and the ability to translate those insights into measurable results. I am delighted that she is now a key part of JY’s leadership team in Korea and I have no doubt that she will continue to deliver great work in that market.”

Lee’s appointment follows the recent appointment of JY Kim to the role of Managing Director, BBDO Korea.
