Wolfcast, a boutique sports presentation firm, has been acquired by KOJO, as the Aussie group aims to expand into the New Zealand market.
Wellington-based Wolfcast produces sporting events including the All Blacks & Maori All Blacks International Fixtures, the HSBC Hamilton Sevens and Super Rugby Matches.
“We’ve been looking to enter the New Zealand market for a while now and we’re thrilled to have found the right opportunity with Wolfcast. It provides an established and impressive presence in the competitive sport entertainment market while also providing KOJO with a great launch pad to introduce our complete creative service offering,” said Stephen Lord, CEO, KOJO.
Tara Hakiwai, the founder of Wolfcast, will join KOJO Sport as a senior producer to focus on the New Zealand market.
“I’ve loved my time building Wolfcast and have a huge sense of pride in what I’ve created but I’m equally excited for the future and the additional value KOJO can offer our clients and partners,” said Hakiwai.
