Audible has launched a new global brand campaign, ‘Stories that Speak to You.’ The campaign will run across film, out-of-home, digital out-of-home, social/digital, audio, and activations in the U.S., Canada, UK, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, and Australia, followed by Mexico and Brazil on August 17, with a Japan launch later this year and India planned for 2027.
‘Stories that Speak to You’ is built around the idea that Audible’s content helps listeners lose track of time, find value in routine moments, and come away from a story feeling better.
The campaign highlights Audible’s content, including original series, full-cast productions, investigative journalism, and reimagined classics. It builds on recent releases including the full-cast audio edition of Harry Potter and a forthcoming multi-language adaptation of Dracula, as well as product features including immersion reading and AI-powered search and discovery.
The campaign features two films. One depicts a jogger who goes out for a short run and becomes so engrossed in an audiobook that he accidentally runs a marathon, traveling through scenes from the countryside to a rave to an abandoned wasteland without breaking from the story. The other follows a new father who becomes inspired to lead a healthier lifestyle after listening to an audiobook, ultimately becoming more present in his child’s life.
“Our listeners seek stories that make them feel something and stay with them long after they press play,” said Cynthia Chu, CFO and Growth Officer, Audible.
“‘Stories that Speak to You’ captures the transcendent, transformative experience that has habituated so many people to Audible. The captivating, immersive storytelling we deliver to our listeners genuinely enriches the way they live.”
‘Stories that Speak to You’ is the next chapter in Audible’s global brand evolution, building on the company’s first global brand campaign, ‘There’s More to Imagine When You Listen,’ launched in 2024. It follows Audible’s announcement this spring that global membership grew by nearly 800 percent from 2015 to 2025 and is projected to more than double again within three years.
The campaign will roll out across media channels, leaning into video, outdoor, and social, and capitalizing on high-reach moments throughout the flight such as sport and entertainment launches. The plan includes a takeover of London’s King’s Cross Station, Melbourne’s Spencer Street tram station, and Sao Paulo retail destinations.
‘Stories that Speak to You’ is the first campaign from Audible’s newly formed in-house creative group, developed alongside the company’s marketing team. It was created in collaboration with Special Group, directed by Megaforce, and photographed by Olivia Malone.
