Asiana Airlines announced that it will accept payments for tickets from mobile service KakaoPay.
User simply need set up a password through KakaoPay, make a ticket selection and then use the password for subsequent purchases.
The airline will feature a promotional event marking the implementation of KakaoPay offering discounts between 5 to 7 percent between August 18-31 for purchases on tickets to Manila, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Hong Kong. The discount will also apply to domestic flight said Asiana.
Asiana is the third Korean airline to accept KakaoPay’s payment method, following Korean Air and Jin Air.
