Skytrax World Airport Awards has named Singapore Changi Airport the inaugural winner of the World’s Best Airport Washrooms award, with Japan’s Tokyo Haneda Airport placing second and South Korea’s Incheon International Airport in third.
Japan dominated the ranking with half of all airports ranked in the top 10.
“This new award introduced for 2025, recognizes the importance of these facilities and honors those airports delivering the highest standards,” Skytrax said in an announcement.
“As with all new awards, this is based on the first year on all assessments and feedback from Skytrax audit office, and has covered 235 airports where this was assessed in detail. In future years, this is incorporated into the customer survey in a more detailed manner.”
