Apple Releases 360-Degree Immersive Album Trailer ‘HVL’ by MCK

Directed by Phương Vũ, the trailer presents the artist across three chapters as part of a comeback after a two-year hiatus. Viewers can scroll in any direction, as if standing inside the scenes.

Apple has released the album trailer “HVL” by influential Vietnamese hip-hop artist MCK, a Shot on iPhone video captured in 360-degrees using iPhone 17 Pro. Directed by Phương Vũ (Antiantiart), the trailer presents the artist across three chapters as part of a comeback after a two-year hiatus.

The “HVL” album trailer, released two days ago, has already garnered one million views. It was shot using eight iPhones, synchronized with genlock to create a 360-degree film.

Hidden elements are included throughout the experience. The number 23 appears across the project, connected to MCK’s March 2 birthday. The film runs 2 minutes and 23 seconds, and the number appears across all three chapters.

Hidden URLs are included, each unlocking snippets of upcoming album tracks. A distorted sound at the film’s end, when replayed at 2.3x speed, decodes into a phone number connected to a voice note recorded by MCK.

The main video was released on MCK’s YouTube channel on 03 April at 23:23 (Vietnam time). The campaign will also run on Instagram and on a DOOH in Nguyen Hue Walking Street.
