Apple Puts the iPhone Through its Paces in the Back of a Rickshaw

An iPhone, a cricket fan, and an enthusiastic rickshaw driver.

Apple has launched a fun new ad film in India as part of the “Relax, it’s iPhone” campaign that puts iPhone 15 – and its owner – through a durability challenge like no other— tossing, turning, and tumbling around in the back of a rickshaw.

So hectic is the ride that the film, done in collaboration with TBWA\Media Arts Lab Singapore, Nirvana Films, and director Prakash Varma, is titled “Wreckshaw.”

Though there actually is no wreck – just a driver enthusiastically trying to get his customers where they gotta go as quickly as possible. Looks fun.

Launching during cricket season, the campaign aims to remind fans that they can watch their favorite game without missing a beat or worrying about damaging their iPhone.

This marks the first locally-made Relax, it’s iPhone film made in India, Apple said. The music is “Buckle Up” by CHAII, Sam Bruno, Don Electron.

The campaign will air on broadcast and appear on digital pre-roll, TVO, and social media.
