Apple Korea Leans Into NCT Fandom in MacBook Neo Campaign

Apple has released a new film that takes note of the fandom’s organic enthusiasm, reimagining its existing MacBook Neo video — originally shared on its global TikTok channel — as an ‘NCT edition’ through Apple Korea’s official channels.

The video, created via TBWA\Media Arts Lab, Seoul, retains the visual rhythm of the original, featuring fluid hand movements and a colorful lineup of MacBook Neo models synced to music, while incorporating new sonic and visual elements. At the moment when the citrus MacBook Neo takes center stage, the phrase “Neo Got My Mac” appears on screen — a nod to the fan-born meme.

Fans responded on social media with comments including “An NCTzen/Czennie must be working at Apple.” The moment also produced a fan-coined phrase — “Neo Got My Mac” — a play on NCT U’s track “Neo Got My Back,” which circulated across platforms.
