Ogilvy has appointed Angel Chen as Chief Growth Officer for China. Chen will be based out of Beijing and be responsible for business and product development, service innovation, and platform partnerships.
She will also work with clients on their business transformation and ensure they have access to the best resources available across the Ogilvy network for maximum growth and impact.
Reporting to Chris Reitermann, Chief Executive Officer for Ogilvy Asia and Greater China, Chen will work closely with office heads and the leaders across Ogilvy’s five business units.
“I am very excited about Angel’s return to Ogilvy. Angel has spent the past few years as an entrepreneur at the forefront of China’s digital transformation and has worked closely with platforms like Douyin and Kuaishou to drive her own education MCN business,” said Reitermann.
“Her hands-on business experience paired with her extensive agency experience will be a great combination to drive value for our clients.”
Chen first joined Ogilvy in 2000 and was named President of OgilvyOne China in 2012.
