Marketing tech company announced that Kim Perell has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer, as current CEO Mark Strecker steps down to pursue new opportunities. Kim Perell currently serves as Amobee’s President, responsible for managing all of Amobee’s worldwide business units, product lines, and technology development and has played a key role in driving the company’s global growth and industry leadership.
The Board at Amobee selected Perell for her exceptional leadership skills, deep knowledge of digital marketing technology, and proven track record of execution and operational excellence. Perell was formerly the CEO of Adconion Direct, which was acquired in 2014 by Amobee.

Amobee names Perell as CEO following its continued success delivering market-leading digital advertising solutions for brands and agencies. The company recently launched Amobee Triggers, which allows marketers to automatically launch and pause digital advertising campaigns based on real time data, including changes in weather, financial market activity, and foot traffic patterns, as well as custom Amobee Brand Intelligence data signals, which include changes in consumer sentiment, engagement, and social media consumption. Amobee was also selected as one of the first Snapchat 3V Advertising Partners, adding to Amobee’s existing ads API integrations with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.

Amobee is continuing to expand its leadership team to support global growth. The company recently added Todd Chu as SVP of Global Operator Innovation, who was one of the former founding members of Signal, as well former Verizon/AOL Millennial Media executive, Robert Woolfrey, as SVP of Asia; and recently, promoted Chad Bronstein to SVP of North America Sales. Bronstein was formerly Amobee’s SVP of Global Partnerships, managing strategic partnerships and sales for the Midwest and Western regions.
