In a YouTube video, ‘The Alto Story’ featuring stories of celebration, Maruti Suzuki positions the Alto as an integral part of every Indian’s journey. It captures the vibrant heterogeneous scenes of India.

The collectivistic mindset of Indians across different communities, culture, religion, and city in India in traveling is the highlight of this campaign. Be it for shopping, festive occasions, family functions or just hanging out with friends, Indians like to travel in groups. With Alto, you can experience India on the move, says Maruti Suzuki’s campaign.


Along with the YouTube video, the campaign was promoted on social media platforms. The video posted on Facebook has over 2 million views now. It is the campaign achieved a view through rate (VTR) of 18.7% for the videos and VTR of 27.8% on the promotion posts on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

Aside of the online marketing, the campaign was also promoted in ground events in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Cochin, Coimbatore and more. The campaign appears to have done well in communicating to Indians that Alto is the car that they need to celebrate life the Indian way.
