AKQA has today announced the appointment of Terence Leong as Executive Creative Director for AKQA Japan.
In his new role, Leong will be responsible for translating AKQA’s global creative vision in collaboration with local clients for the Japanese market. He previously held the position of Executive Creative Director at R/GA Shanghai.

Terence brings with him considerable experience across the APAC region, having worked for the likes of Wieden + Kennedy, and R/GA, collaborating with clients such as Nike, Google and Sony.

AKQA recently announced its formalized partnership with Grey Group, creating the AKQA Group. Leong will work together with Masanori Tagaya, ECD of GREY Tokyo creating a diverse perspective that aims to unite native Japanese and international mindsets.
The appointment is effective per January 5th, 2021.
