Agoda has appointed Ittai Chorev as its chief marketing officer, tasked with overseeing Agoda’s global marketing functions as part of his expanded portfolio, including performance marketing, CRM, pricing and loyalty, brand marketing and consumer public relations.
Based out of Thailand, Chorev previously held the role as vice president of marketing at Agoda. Prior to that, he was co-founder of Qlika, a startup specializing in online marketing optimization, which was acquired by Booking Holdings, which owns Agoda, in 2014.
“It’s exciting to work for an organization that is willing to take risks and innovate, and I am looking forward to extending these learnings across our marketing channels in Agoda to continue this success,” said Chorev. “Only by constantly testing and refining, we will continue to stay ahead of our competition and achieve our global growth ambitions.”
John Brown, CEO and president, Agoda added: “Chorev has deep expertise in scientific marketing and as CMO his approach will be to apply that same scientific, measurable vigor across the marketing disciplines to help continue Agoda’s growth in both our core Asia markets and beyond.”
