South Korea’s AD STARS has extended its entry deadline until Wednesday 15th June 2022, giving agencies, creative, production companies and advertising enthusiasts two more weeks to submit their entries to the 15th AD STARS Awards.
“The deadline to submit entries has been extended due to numerous requests,” said Paul Conversy, awards manager at AD STARS.
“There will be no further extension beyond the 15th of June, so don’t miss out on this final opportunity to submit your creative projects.”
AD STARS is one of the most inclusive creative awards shows, with most categories being free to enter, it is the only festival open to non-professionals and professionals with a US$10,000 cash prize for Grand Prix of the Year winners.
“We’re particularly excited for this year’s edition of AD STARS 2022 as it marks the return of in-person events with conferences and exhibits taking place at BEXCO in Busan,” said Hwan Jin Choi, chairperson of AD STARS.
“Our theme of the year is “MAD”, MAD stands for Marketing, Advertising and Digital and it’s a reflection of the direction in which our industry is going in embracing a more multidisciplinary and creative approach. We can’t wait to see some of the MAD innovations that will be showcased at AD STARS 2022.”

AD STARS have this year secured a jury composed of 340 global experts and leaders. The AD STARS jury is composed of 300 preliminary judges and 40 final judges, from over 80 countries.
Charu Menon, partner / executive producer at Heckler and executive jury for the Film and Video stars category said: “I’m really excited to check out some of the entries and start discussions with fellow judges, I can’t wait to see what the creative community have come up with this year.”

AD STARS 2022 will run from 25th to 27th August at Bexco (Busan Exhibition and Conference Centre) in Busan, Korea.
